Who’s Scared Of Spiders?
Published 1 year, 6 months ago in My life.I don’t know about you guys, but this was the biggest spider I have ever encountered in Melbourne. Let me know if you have seen bigger (in Melbourne)

Yep Looks pretty big, the biggest spiders I,ve encountered were when we lived in S.A. some of them were the size of bread & butter plates.
I’m not particularly scared of spiders, we have even had ones that we’ve left to roam ’round the house as psuedo pets and I had one that nested in the cormer of my kitchen window and I used to catch flies to feed to it.
That said, I must say I hate white tails and I do get a fright if spiders jump out at me unexpectedly.
No - I haven’t seen any that big - just a lot fatter!! And hairier!!!
That is a big one! And complete with all 8 legs.
Yep, I’m scared of them, but only rationally… (e.g. I’m not scared of fake spiders or pictures of spiders)…
This is the biggest one I’ve ever seen… I turned it bright colours…

Yeh I don’t like em’ at all. Even fake ones. I can’t tell how big that one is cos’ there is nothing really in the photo to compare it too. I’m glad of that though. I don’t want to know how big they can get to be honest.
Ever seen the bird-eating spider? There is a great specimen at the Royal Melbourne Zoo, or at least there used to be if it is no longer there. Just outside the butterfly enclosure. Now that is one big spider.
Can’t say I have seen a bird-eating spider. Although have you seen the camel spiders. They are enourmous! ICK!
Well, this isn’t the whole thing (coz it got squished), but you get the idea of how big this one was…
Spiders are like snakes - horrible, disgusting creatures that full-on give me the creeps!!
